Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and implement sales concepts for customers within GL's BDM network and in cooperation with Division Strategic Sales;
  • Customer responsibility for existing and potential clients;
  • Visit clients, identify and follow-up actively sales leads/opportunities;
  • Issue customer relationship management reports;

 

Qualification & Requirement:
 
  • Technical or Commercial training with degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Sales Management;
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant sales and/or shipping business experience, e.g. ship/fleet management, supervision of new building/docking/damage and repair or business/chartering,etc;
  • Ability to perform ship management/fleet planning analyses on companies and situations with focus on customer/solution/improvement orientation and sales presentation;
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Internet and CRM tools;
  • Chinese as mother tongue/excellent command of written and spoken Chinese in Sales, and fluency in English;
  • Strong common sense with sound business and commercial judgment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and strategic sales communication skills and confident manner with customers;
  • Flexibility and high level of self motivation and personal responsibility;
  • Open-minded and good understanding of western culture
 
Nationality:Prefer local Chinese
 
Compensation:The starting compensation will depend upon, among others, the individual’s experience, qualifications and current earnings.
