Position: | Ship Recycling Engineer | Description: | | | | Company Background: | | | | A member of IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) | | | | Main Responsibilities: | | | - Develop the topic of ship recycling in the Asian region;
- Assess dangerous substances inventories for the itinerant fleet and new building;
- Present to customers, and advise suppliers, shipowners and shipyards on the topic of ship recycling;
| | | Qualification & Requirement: | | | - Scientific and technical university degree.
- Experience in handling hazardous substances an advantage.
- Work experience in ship building and/or engine building a plus.
- Excellent command of English, ideally some knowledge of Mandarin.
- Independent, process-oriented work style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Confident manner with customers.
- Flexible team worker, able to work under pressure
