Company Background:
 
Our Client, a German company, the innovation leader, technology leader in the tap-changer business and also the No 1 supplier of on-load tap changer for power transformers in various industrial applications, is now searching for candidates in China.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Visiting customers regularly to build strong customer relationships;
  • Securing offer preparations. (commercial and technical accuracy) and follow up of offers;
  • Compiling, consolidating and follow up of customer projects including entries in project database (CRM).;
  • Presenting product information and carrying out customer training, where necessary including internal experts (CST, CSO or Application Engineering, EVA);
  • Entering sales negotiations;
  • Researching market situation for building sales and marketing strategies;
  • Prompt delivery of information relating to competition to the marketing department (products, market activities and price);
  • Carrying out planning processes (including visit planning) in designated federal states/areas ;
  • Checking outstanding payments and implementing necessary procedures (with approval of the responsible RSM);
  • Monitoring complaint management in designated regions/area;
  • Responsibility for customer master data in their region;
  • Compiling regular reports (e.g. forecasts, visit reports, market and customer information, market and customer competition analysis);
  • Responsibility for special technical projects (e.g. phase shifter, HVDC) for customers;
  • Assisting with/managing internal and cross-divisional projects.
 
Qualification & Requirement:
 
  • Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, preferably Power / High Voltage Engineering;
  • About 5-years of sales related work experience in the industry;
  • Knowledge on electrical engineering;
  • Business-fluent English, additional language skills desirable.;
  • Good PC skills with Presentation is preferred;
  • Sales-oriented, entrepreneurial outlook;
  • Good creativity and negotiation skills;
  • Good personal responsibility and management skills;
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility;
  • A confident manner with the customer.;
  • Knowledge of relevant cultures.
 
Nationality:Prefer local Chinese
 
Compensation:The starting compensation will depend upon, among others, the individual’s experience, qualifications and current earnings.
