Company Background:
 
       Our client, a well-known transnational textile procurement center in America
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Candidate must be product oriented.  Prefer candidates who have experience with home textiles.  But, will also consider candidates who have experience with other forms of textiles (fabric, apparel, etc.)；
  • Prefer candidate’s previous experience is US market related with a FOB value of US$10M at least；
  • Must act as liaison between US headquarters and Chinese factories；
  • Oversee sample development from A-Z, work with our Fabric/Color Technician and factory to execute specification of fabric and product, request price-quotations from suppliers and report back to head office in U.S., oversee that sample development & production requirements of the company are met, oversee/manage customer testing procedures of products, oversee placement of order to best suitable factory that U.S. deems appropriate for the business in question, oversee factory to ensure scheduled production is executed correctly;
  • Report any issues to EVP Shanghai and U.S. office.
 
Qualification & Requirement:
 
  • Must be honest and trust-worthy;
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and email in Mandarin and English;
  • Must possess excellent communication/follow-up, organizational and administrative skills;
  • Must have “hands-on” management experiences in his/her previous job;
  • Must have experience managing sizable merchandising teams (5 staff at least);
  • Must be willing to travel to factories if necessary;
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be computer literate.
 
Nationality:Prefer local Chinese
 
Compensation:The starting compensation will depend upon, among others, the individual’s experience, qualifications and current earnings.
